Culinary English Lavender - 10 g

A little lavender goes a long way.

Our Culinary English Lavender is grown pesticide-free at Josephine Flower Farm in Lincoln, Ontario, then hand-harvested and carefully dried for use in the kitchen.

English lavender has a softer, sweeter flavour than more camphorous lavender varieties. Used sparingly, it adds delicate floral, citrus and herbaceous notes to drinks, baking, desserts and savoury dishes.

Each reusable 100 ml glass mason jar contains 10 g of dried culinary lavender buds - approximately 20 teaspoons - enough for several recipes.

100% English Lavender buds (lavandula angustifolia).

This product contains pesticide-free dried culinary lavender buds.

As this is a naturally grown and hand-harvested product, slight variations in colour, size and appearance are expected.

Lavender has a concentrated flavour, so use only as much as needed to create a delicate floral flavour. Start with ½ teaspoon, taste, and add another pinch if desired.

Always use a clean, dry spoon.

  • For infusions, steep the lavender briefly and strain before serving.
  • For baking, finely crush the buds or rub them into the recipe’s sugar to distribute the flavour evenly.

Please note: This product is not lavender essential oil. Essential oil should not be substituted in recipes calling for dried culinary lavender.

Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dark, and dry cupboard.

Protect from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
