During your U-Pick visit, you’ll wander through Josephine’s seasonal flower field and gather a bouquet from the varieties blooming beautifully that day. Colours and flowers change throughout the season, making every visit unique. Feel free to pack a picnic and blanket to bring with you and take photos while you're here!

Once you arrive and check-in, we’ll provide you with a picking container and pruners, simple cutting guidance, and everything you need to create a beautiful seasonal bouquet. Fill your container comfortably — there is no need to count stems. We’ll help finish and wrap your flowers before you leave. (Containers are not included in the price.)

Choose Your Picking Experience

Adults

  • Classic Pick, ages 13+: $36 ($31.86+tax)
  • Non-Picking Companion, Ages 13+: $0 (maximum one per paid picker)
  • Young adults aged 16-17 are welcome without an adult 18+ as long as a completed waiver and permission is received in advance by their parent or guardian.

Children

  • Little Gatherer, ages 5-12: $16 ($14.16+tax)
  • Non-Picking Child, Ages 0-12: $0 (maximum one per paid picker)
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied at a maximum of two per adult, must be supervised at all times and assisted with using the pruners. Children under 5 are not permitted to pick or use pruners.

FAQ's

Josephine Flower Farm is a working agricultural property and our family home.

Please follow all posted instructions and guidance from Josephine staff.

Thank you for caring for our farm by following these guidelines:

  • Please DO NOT EAT any flowers, berries, seeds, or plants.
  • Please arrive at the beginning of your reserved time and remain within the designated visitor areas
  • Check-in before entering the field
  • Closed-toe footwear is recommended
  • We operate in light rain - please dress for the weather and field conditions
  • We are a working farm with bugs, uneven ground, thorns, and machinery/equipment
  • Children must remain closely supervised and within reach of an adult at all times
  • A maximum of two children under age 12 are permitted per supervising adult
  • Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • Guests aged 16 or 17 may attend without an accompanying adult when their parent or legal guardian has completed the required waiver in advance
  • Pets are not permitted
  • No smoking permitted

We reserve the right to ask a guest(s) to leave the property immediately, without refund, if our rules are not followed or if their actions disrupt the picking experience or safety of other guests.

What's included in my ticket price?

Your U-Pick experience includes approx. 2 hours of admission to our flower fields and a picking vessel with fresh water and sanitized pruners to use during your visit. Wander at your own pace, choose flowers that catch your eye, and create a bouquet that is completely your own.

We will explain how and where to cut and can help you to create a balanced mix of focal and accent flowers and foliage.

When you're ready to leave, we'll wrap your flowers so they stay safe on your drive home.

Can I bring a friend?

We are happy for you to bring a 'non-picking' companion along with you at no charge. As our capacity is shared across all ticket types, we allow only one complimentary companion booking per paid picker in order to reserve capacity for other guests who wish to pick flowers.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing a container to bring your flowers home in as well as sunscreen, bug spray, a sunhat and a bottle of water.

Don't forget a camera to take pictures and also bring along a picnic and blanket if you wish!

Yes, if you'd like to reserve a private or group session, please contact us to set up a day and time.

Yes. You are able to change or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior to your booking in order to allow other potential guests to book in your timeslot.

U-Pick sessions operate rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.

We will monitor the weather conditions and contact you to either reschedule your visit or provide a refund if the weather is unsafe for your visit due to strong winds, lightning, hail, extreme heat, smog, etc.

Please make every effort to arrive on time for your reservation - but we know that traffic and life happens!

Drop by anytime during the 2-hour ticket window of your reservation time.

Flower varieties, colours and quantities depend on seasonal and field conditions. Specific varieties cannot be guaranteed, but there will always be something beautiful to discover.

You're welcome to take pictures while you're here, but no professional photography.

We are happy to take reservations for photography sessions while the fields are not open for U-Pick. Sessions are $70/hour. Please contact us for more details.

Yes. We have on-site parking at the farm.

Yes. We have a portable washroom on-site with a handwashing sink.

We love pets! But, please leave your little companions at home. Service animals are allowed.

Our farm dog, Leo (a friendly Boston Terrier), will likely be wandering around the farm during your visit. Please let us know if you would prefer for him to be leashed while you are here.
